BETHLEHEM

Bethehem townhouse is an island summer house like no other. It is located in a small alley in the old town center of Parikia, the picturesque capital of the Cycladic Island of Paros, on a privileged spot a mere 100 meters from the beach. Built by the Venetians in 1600, it was formerly used as the residence of the Orthodox priest of the Byzantine church that backs it. Renovated in 2016 with respect to its Cycladic authenticity, it still carries enchanting elements of its long history, harmoniously incorporated into a residence that boasts all modern-day conveniences – from a fully equipped kitchen to an indulgent rooftop fully cabled with power sockets and with excellent internet service.

This two-floor Cycladic town house features two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one on each level, and can accommodate up to four guests, who will find here an ideal starting point for exploring Paros or simply a haven for resting and enjoying the Cycladic sky, on the lovely rooftop. Its inner garden, planted with native herbs and a citrus fruit tree, highlights the authenticity of the house, which is surrounded by traditional whitewashed Cycladic houses adorned with flowering bougainvilleas, and by small local boutiques.

Summer days here are spent the true Cycladic way. The port, as well as the bus station, are at walking distance, which makes the Bethlehem house an unparalleled starting point for excursions around the island. Strolling the Cycladic alleys, enjoying the sunset at the harbor, shopping and exploring the old town – everything is available just outside the door.
