VOTSALAKIA I
The two villas of the luxurious Votsalakia I complex are the exceptional realization of Alexandra’s vision about ideal summer living, although residents find that they are perfect all year round. The villas are part of a larger concept, which is inspired by a philosophy of sustainable well-being, and yet, each one not only has its own entrance, but also its own character.
Built in 2015 on a seaside parcel on the island of Paros, these two villas boast stunning views of the Aegean Sea, private pools, a protected secluded beach at walking distance, and feature all modern amenities, to tend to every need of luxurious living by the sea, while incorporating the values of sustainability. Natural construction materials were used for their development, and eco-conscious choices were made throughout, to deliver low-energy residences.
The complex is situated close to the village of Aliki, a traditional Parian settlement that offers all that’s necessary for the residents’ daily needs, as well as various options, such as traditional tavernas, for enjoying local food. The proximity to Aliki is ideal for balancing luxurious exclusivity and relaxed island living.
Both villas are designed to feel open to the views that lie before them, but preserving the elements of ingenious simplicity that define Cycladic architecture. They are carefully furnished and decorated by Alexandra herself, with selected pieces that carry the island’s spirit and add to each villa’s sophisticated character. The private gardens are planted with native herbs and trees, to simultaneously serve beauty and sustainability, and create a landscape that integrates perfectly with the natural environment of Paros.
